I enjoyed doing my sisters card so much, I decided to make a batch of them.. I did them in stages, choosing the card, the punching, added the inserts, putting the peel off on acetate, cutting them out etc. But I enjoyed doing them and they were all were done and dusted in less than a week.
Well I have so many cards to do each year, am hoping this will make a dent in them, then can get back to scrapbooking. Saying that I still have the wedding invites to finish as they have to be sent out in April. It's only the inserts that still have to be done, Sam and Matt can write them and the envelopes out, lol.
I've been doing the odd bit of latch hooking in the evenings too, while watching
'Masterchef' on V+, am also recording
'The Midwife'. So will start watching that when the series is finished, as get fed up having to wait a week for the next episode. I will be able to watch all of them over a couple of Sundays evenings while doing the ironing. I've been told it's good, so am looking forward to watching it, as don't normally do TV.
I've also got Steven's care covered so I can attend the
make-it craft show in Farnborough this Friday with my mum and auntie, think it will be my 8th year. I originally ask Russets (his respite centre) to have him in for a sleepover, but it seemed,
5 months notice was not enough and said no. So I have Out of Town keeping him for an extra hour, then Sam will come here when she finishes work, and will look after him till hubby gets home from Bath. All that juggling, just so I can go out, I do sometime wonder if it's worth all the hassle, lol.
Talking of Bath, I was there for a few days last week, had a very relaxing few days, meeting up with my sister-in-law and having breakfast AND dinner with hubby. I also came home with some red roses, box of chocolate and a card, seeing it was Valentines Day while I was there, lol.
The only downside was after I got home, but won't bore you with all my moans and doom and gloom. As there is already too much in the world, without me adding to it...xx
