Yikes more stash...

Got my TSV from QVC, never known a TSV to come so quick before, (it arrived Friday)... am looking forward to trying out some new techniques...

also got some inks to go with the TSV

and the crackle paints (not that I saw any of the show, but hope that I've tapes some to know what to do with them, just liked the sound of the word 'crackle'), lol...

I wanted to do some more bling (I blame sue bubbles for that, as she's always talking sparkles) so bought these glitter glues to add to my work (when I actually do some crafting, lol)

I also got my order from ribbon mad, which is a shame as they are closing down...

oh forgot I also got little yellow and green star buttons but didn't see they had fallen on the floor till after I put this photo on my blog...

Make-it show

Yesterday I went to the make-it show in Farnborough with my auntie, we've gone the last few years together but this year was a bonus as my mum came along too, and of course I just TO BUY some stash...

well it would have been rude not too...

I just love these buttons, (used a bus one that I bought at the show last year for Jan's Feb ATC)...

and you've never enough storage...

embossing folders for my cuttlebug, border peel offs, black gems, refills for my glue roller and spare scissors for upstairs...

couple of pads of paper, (children's and mens), chalk ink pads, glue pen, punches and another x-cut small guillotine (as mine is worn out now)

and you've never enough mirror card...

and mum treated me and my auntie to a bow maker (from the glitter girls stand) to say thank you for a lovely day out...

so in all a good day I think, Oh yes and came home to find my items from QCV craft day and from ribbon mad had arrived, pictures tomorrow of those, lol...

(HUSH don't tell hubby)...

ATC (February)

This month's theme was set by Gina and it was 'music from the year you were born' which makes mine 1963, did think about the Beach Boys and 'surfing USA', then Cliff Richard, but as couldn't decide, I looked up to see what was number one when I was born in the March and it was Cliff Richard with 'Summer Holiday'...

So decide to do a set of 2, one was sent my partner Bev...

and the other one going to Jan on do-crafts...

Next week I'll take a photo of all the ATC I've been lucky to receive so far from Susiej, Jan, Gina, Jenni and Carole...

Cannot believe....

where the weeks are going too, it's weeks I blogged BUT feels a lot longer, lol...

Have been busy round my daughter's house, last month the damp course was done, the cowls were put in place, as was new lead flashing... well so far this month, had a double doorway knocked through from the lounge to the dining room and bi-folded doors fitted (which I bought and collected from wicks, my goodness they were heavy)...
Had the larder bricked up, (and the back was then knocked through into the conservatory) the kitchen doorway has been moved so there is a chance we can now fit in some kitchen units (remember the dilemma about that?)... on Monday we are having the loft ladder fitted, also should hear next week when the plumber can come and fit a new bathroom suite and when the double glazing will be fitted, I've been running backwards and forwards sorting them all out, so has been all go there...

Also had more meetings/appointments about Sevens transition and have a few more planned for this month to look forward to.... still no further forward than I was this time last month, in fact might have actually gone backwards thanks to some lack of funding, but I'm still on the case and fighting where I need to...

As for crafting, last month did knock up the ATC over a few evenings, (not done this months yet, sorry Bev).... also did manage a few birthday cards as when were needed and have just knocked up a Valentines card over the last few days for tomorrow, (a few minutes here and a few minutes there, lol)...

I've also managed to buy a few bits in shops sales (don't you just love the internet, where you can shop in the middle of the night, lol)...also from Make the Moment Last in their closing down sale, so yet again another shop I love, bites the dust....

My daughter had her engagement party last weekend, a little late seeing she got engagement at the end of October last year, but because of the time of year everywhere was booked, so they had to wait till now... It went well and lots of people came to help them celebrate their happy day, including family from Lacock and friends from Bournemouth, hopefully lots of photos to scrap (when I get the time, lol)...

I've also chosen Steven's new bedding (chocolate brown, beige and 2 different colour blues) and have decided on the paint and found the new units I want to buy, so as soon as Sam's house is sorted, can start on that....

This last week what with builders, have also been trying to catch up on the business books as it's half term next week and of course that all goes on hold with littlen home. We've got nothing planned, have a few ideas, but will see what mood Steven is in and what the weather is like to what we actually do each day, all I know is on Monday I've got my mum coming up to look after Steven while I go round to Sam's house to see in the loft ladder man, and I'll have to stay there till he's finish, I've got some more PECS symbols to laminate so at least it keeps me out of trouble, lol...

Right am going to try and catch up with my friends blogs while we're sitting here watching Balamory...
