My January makes

I've starting writing in a book of the makes I do. As hoping it will encourage me to get my finger out in making things every month, but also on a down day, I can look back and see that I have achieved already this year :-)

So here are my January makes, OK minus the 2 Christening cards, as already shown you them.

Steven's Thank you cards
, (few missing as kept forgetting to take photo before writing and sending them off, but had made 14 of them)

A selection of Birthday Cards...

Anniversary Cards...

I also started knitting a cardi back in November as brought the wool and pattern while visiting hubby while working in Bath. Well here is the finished cardi (am hoping Bethany will still be able to fit in it, lol). I think I've spent more hours unpicking it than actually knitting it, but I wouldn't be beaten, there was noway I was going to let it get the better of me :-D

I've enjoyed doing the cards, again simple, but that's me, lol, (OK maybe not the knitting towards the end lol) but am really hoping to get back into scrapping this year. I've loads of photos developed from snapfish from their 75 prints for 75p last month, so there is no excuse ;-)

But as we all know, life gets in the way especially when you least expect it :-( so my aim is to do a layout a month, on something I want to remember from the month before. So this time next year I should have 12 layouts of happy memories. I've hopefully got Gina and Sue on-board too, (in doing a LO a month), but does depend on their health, especially Gina, she really has not been well this year :-( But I'm just so relieved to have them still here, especially after so nearly loosing them both through ill health last year :-(

UPDATE... Bethany was slightly too big for the cardi, so I'm getting it back, lol... oh well lets hope someone I know, has a baby girl before I loose it, heheheh
