Crafting, what's that?...

....what a draining week, it started off with snow again, so I had trouble getting Steven down the road for the school transport. Not only did we have to walk in the middle of the road (which totally confused Steven, it's a thing we DON'T do), but also it resulted with me, holding him up with my arm and elbow under he's armpit, which meant I've been in pain all week from my shoulder, down my right side and into my spine and hips, as my body is just not used to taking that sort of weight in that position..... and to cap it all, one day the bus didn't even arrive and as people know who has a special child how they are likely to behave, I did take him into school myself, but the drive was a nightmare, but on a up note he was perfectly fine once he got into class....

but on the brighter side to the week, I got my second sizzix order, the post started arriving again, the dustbin and recycling were emptied and the builders, double glazing men were back in the offices, so manage to get myself 3 appointments for next week with them (OK not sure that is a bright side, but it has to be done) and got 2 this weekend, which as hubby is home he can sort them out....

BUT... the highlight has to be that Man U and Liverpool are out the cup, lol (sorry sue, but Leeds is my childhood football team, hehehe)...

Hopefully things will be a little easier with Steven next week, as hopefully back to a routine, life will be busy as usual, the normal household and business chores, appointments with the builders etc. also got the chance to spend the day at school with Steven (not sure how he will see that!), the hairdressers, (the roots are showing badly) and also need to get back into looking into Steven's transition, so have arranged to go and look at our local college enrichment classes, ready for the BIG meeting the following week...

So in all, a fun and games week, but at least it keeps me out of trouble, and as for time for crafting, Crafting, what's that?

Thanks Maria!(not!) That's my reward for cheering Reading on in the first match (my SIL is a Liverpool fan). At least they won the replay.
Hope you have a less stressful week and goos luck with the plans for Steven's transition.

Oh poor Maria, what a week! I'm so glad the snow is starting to go now, at least Steven can get back into a routine, and you too! Sorry to hear you're in so much pain after having to help Steven, sending ooodles of sparkles to all your sore bits!

But, so glad to hear that you had a few highlights to your week too!
It does'nt sound like you get a minute to yourself Maria, let alone time to craft.

Just a little suggestion which might help with your crafting though.
At one point I had soooooo much stash, it all became a little overwhelming, despite the fact I always wanted more, lol!!!

Anyway, not so long ago, I had a culling of my all presious goodies, hard I know, but I did it!

I also cut a load of my 12x12 papers into four, ready to make 6x6 mini albums, I used my super duper fabby 12" Xcut guillotine for that, it's quite therapeutic too, lol!!
I then put all my Christmas bits and bobs in one box, another for Vintage style, another with just embellishments, ribbons and so on, and bought myself some Cropper Hoppers (in my gallery) they're fab Maria!!
I don't have a craft room, so it's always such a flaf taking everything out, and putting it all away, groan!
But since doing it this way, I only really ever have to take out the one box, with the theme I'm working on (rather then everything as before!) I still ofcourse end up taking out my tools and bits and bobs but find I can find things a lot better and it takes so much less time to craft then before, and best of all, I've started to enjoy it more and it's a lot easier to tidy away, hurray!!!
I'm not normally this organised or tidy, lol! but really found this helped.

I hope Maria that you do find time to craft, your work is always so beautiful!!

Big hugs to you and Steven!
Suzie xxxx :)

Poor Maria, your week does not sound like fun! Hope your pains soon ease up a bit. Sorry that you don't find time for crafting, that would surely do you good. You need a day with more hours and less work! Have a nice weekend, hugs, Valerie
