I do the kid stockings, OK Steven only has a few in his and in fact this year it was under the tree and not in his bedroom, as no sister to help him open them :-( But on a plus side Sam would wake him up at 5, help him open his stocking, then because he was awake we would all have to get up and open our presents under the tree. And an hour later, our daughter will go back to bed leaving us to entertain Steven, as when he is up, he is up and no naps through the day, so making it a very long day for us (but not Sam, lol).
So was quite nice not getting up till 8, (Steven was awake at 6, but was happy to chill and watch a DVD in bed, in fact we had to encourage him to get out of bed at 8, lol. Well he had been helping with the animals at his day centre on Christmas Eve). Anyway a nice relaxing start to Christmas...
Well this year Sam and Matt had sacks not stocking and I counted as I wrapped their pressies and it worked out around 55 items each ahhhh. They consisted of practical presents like lem-sips, paracetamol, washing liquid, dish clothes etc. personal ones, like knickers, t/shirts, socks, deodorant etc. teats of sweets and sauces they like and finally silly presents like quiz bar mats, cat-a-pult etc...
They had their own named sack with their personal, treats and silly ones wrapped in red or pink paper, then the practical ones wrapped in white and divided into each sack...
This was the photo and comment on facebook from my daughter, (as Santa delivered them round THEIR house, so they had the mess to clear up)...
We have come to the conclusions from our stockings that Santa left us that;
We are always ill or have headaches, Our breath must smell,We don't wash our clothes enough, Our feet are always cold and we love Donald and daisy hehe thanks Santa :-) xxxx
Matt loved it, as never had stockings at his house, he said it was nice to be treated as a kid, so made it all worth while...
